Fucken Banks...
Banks have our money, they are charged with the responsibility of holding cash money for us. They charge us for this service BUT......
What do banks do with our money, I ask this as we pay them for storage in the form of fees, Our money is an active asset for them to invest or loan out to other individuals at higher rates. If we save money with a bank, that gives them a commodity to earn money.... Why the rant.
I just needed to withdraw some cash from a branch. Yes that in itself was like time travel. Due to cash becoming less important, Banks in branch have shifted focus to lending, not day to day transactions. So back to the cash withdrawal.... I waited 25 minutes in line for a single teller. whilst waiting I had three staff members check on me in the line, when they find out Im just wanting cash, they move to the next person. They have a loan enquiry, so the staff members takes them off to a desk...
So the person who wants to take their own money gets bumped down the queue and the person who wants to borrow money gets served straight away. My transaction took about 45 seconds end to end.
Well stuff you Westpac... all banks suck....
